Hello!

I am excited about solving unusual problems in creative ways and love building rich collaborations that defy expectations. I am a designer, researcher, maker, and educator who is deeply committed to using an intentional approach to building holistic designs at all scales. I design human experiences informed by empathy and data , and grounded in the context of environmental, social, and cultural issues. I am inspired by the elegance and efficiency with which nature solves problems and aspire to apply the lessons I learn from research and observation to create work that not only celebrates nature but also strives to sustain it. These values are reflected in the way I engage with all aspects of design and methods of production, from the physical to the digital, and all the hybrids beyond easy definition. Trained as an architect, I engage with the design process from a systems based framework, which allows me to easily adapt to the needs of each unique project. My extensive experience in using digital technology for design, production, and physical fabrication allows me to build diverse prototypes to test ideas around the specific needs of each project.
